About CKMD Army

Meet Baron Li

“Asian 50 Cent”

Born in Thailand and raised in Hawaii, Baron survived severe childhood abuse, 17 foster and group-home placements, and later a murder-for-hire attempt where he was shot nine times—and lived. He rebuilt his life as a father, entrepreneur, and advocate.

Today, Baron channels his story through CKMD Army to teach practical resilience: clear mindset, simple systems, daily discipline, and a heart for people—especially youth who feel written off. Media features include People Magazine, Investigation Discovery, Max, Inside Edition, and top podcasts like True Crime With Kendall Rae, Crime Stories With Nancy Grace, and Unspeakable Podcast With Kelly Jennings.

Help Us Map Hope: CKMD Army’s 50-State Foster Resource Guide

Across the country, incredible people are showing up for youth in care—caseworkers, foster parents, mentors, nonprofits, school programs, CASA volunteers, housing and mental-health providers, legal aid, after-care teams, and employers willing to hire youth aging out.

CKMD Army’s 50-State Foster Care Resource Guide is live and actively growing—a free, public directory where anyone—youth, caregivers, educators, donors, and volunteers—can find vetted organizations in their state in seconds. New organizations are added continuously as our network expands.

If you serve youth in foster care, we want to meet you. Let’s connect on a quick 30-minute Zoom to learn your mission, who you serve, and how people can plug in. Our goal is simple: amplify your work and make it easier for communities to find and support you.

Ready to get your organization listed? Schedule a free 30-minute intro call and we’ll get you added to the guide—at no cost.

Our Purpose

Our Mission

To connect, empower, and equip the foster care community by creating a nationwide resource guide that makes it simple for people to find ways to help locally. We believe every youth in foster care deserves hope, support, and opportunity — and that starts by uniting those who are already doing the work.
