Program Overview
Who They Are
Created Ministries was founded by Mark and Dori Carpenter after they witnessed firsthand the devastating gap that exists when young people age out of foster care with no support system. Moved by the story of a young man given $1,000 and a "plan" — then left completely alone — they built an organization dedicated to making sure no one faces that journey without community.
Today, Created Ministries provides housing, food assistance, financial coaching, career support, and deep relational connection through their RISE and Traverse Together programs, ensuring young adults in transition have the stability and belonging they deserve.

How They Help
Housing, food assistance, financial coaching, and career support for young adults ages 18–25 affected by foster care or homelessness. RISE provides the security and encouragement of a community of supportive adults as participants transition to independent living.
Support, education, and a sense of belonging for young adults 18 and up who have been affected by foster care or homelessness. Participants receive Traverse Training, personalized support, and connections to vital resources — so they never face the challenges of adulthood alone.
