CO4Kids connects prospective foster parents with the training, licensing support, and placement resources they need to open their homes to children in need. From initial inquiry through the first placement and beyond, CO4Kids walks alongside every family in Colorado's foster care system.
For families ready to adopt from foster care, CO4Kids provides guidance through every step of the process — from understanding Colorado's adoption pathways to connecting with waiting children and navigating legal finalization. They also offer post-adoption support resources to help families thrive long-term.
When children can't safely remain with their parents, relatives and close family friends can step in as kinship caregivers. CO4Kids supports kinship families with information on licensing, financial assistance, legal options, and community connections so relatives can confidently care for children they love.
