The Haven Impact exists because no child should enter foster care carrying their belongings in a trash bag. Founded in Colorado by foster care advocates who saw this painful reality firsthand, The Haven Impact provides duffel bags packed with essential personal items — clothing, hygiene products, comfort items, and toys — so that children entering the system arrive with dignity and a sense of care from the very first moment.
Beyond supplies, The Haven Impact builds community around Colorado's foster families — providing practical support, resources, and connection so foster parents feel equipped, valued, and never alone in the vital work they do for children in their care.

How They Help
The Haven Impact's signature program — packing duffel bags filled with age-appropriate clothing, hygiene products, comfort items, books, and toys for children entering foster care. No child should carry their belongings in a trash bag. Each duffel is a tangible message: you are seen, you are valued, and you matter.
The Haven Impact provides practical resources and community connection for foster families across Colorado. From essential household items to emotional support and referrals, they ensure foster parents have what they need to care for children well — reducing burnout and strengthening the entire foster care network.
The Haven Impact runs community donation drives to collect clothing, hygiene products, toys, and supplies for foster children and families. Individuals, businesses, churches, and schools across Colorado can host drives or donate directly — making it easy for the entire community to rally around children in care.
Volunteers gather regularly to sort donations, pack duffel bags, and prepare supplies for children entering foster care. These events are open to individuals, families, corporate teams, and youth groups — providing a meaningful, hands-on way to serve Colorado's foster community while building connections with like-minded people.
