Who They Are
Connect Child and Family Solutions is a community-based 501(c)(3) partnering with local public and private foster agencies to connect foster children and families with community, resources, and solutions across West Central Illinois. Their programs span clothing and essentials, mentorship, therapy and counseling, life skills, employment support, family strengthening, respite care, financial assistance, and foster parent recruitment — all built around needs voiced directly by frontline caregivers.
Connect is committed to being a safe place when lives are disrupted, and a place of healing as families are restored — meeting practical needs while building the kind of community support that helps foster and biological families alike find stability.
Programs & Services
How They Help
Connect provides clothing and everyday essentials to foster children and families across West Central Illinois — meeting practical needs so caregivers can focus on stability and care rather than scrambling for basics.
Connect pairs youth in foster care with mentors and life skills programming, helping them build the confidence, relationships, and practical know-how to navigate school, relationships, and eventually independence.
Connect offers therapy and counseling alongside family strengthening services, helping children process trauma and helping families — foster and biological — build the tools to stay stable and connected through crisis.
Connect provides respite care for foster families needing a break, financial assistance for caregivers in need, and active recruitment and support for new foster parents across the region.
