How They Help
CASA of Harford County trains everyday citizens to become Court Appointed Special Advocates — equipping them with the knowledge and support they need to represent a child's best interests with confidence and care.
CASA volunteers speak directly to the court on behalf of children navigating the foster care and legal systems, ensuring judges hear a clear, consistent voice focused on what's truly best for each child.
Beyond the courtroom, CASA volunteers build lasting relationships with the children they serve — getting to know their story, their needs, and their hopes so they can help change the trajectory of that story.
For three decades, CASA of Harford County has stood in the gap for local children who have experienced abuse and neglect — a registered 501(c)(3) built on a simple belief: every child deserves an advocate.
