Foster Care Essentials provides clothing and essential items at absolutely no cost to families caring for children in foster and kinship care throughout Massachusetts. Every child in care deserves to arrive — and stay — with clothing that fits and items that meet their basic needs. No family should face that burden alone.

Kinship caregivers — relatives and family friends who step up to care for children — often do so on short notice and with limited resources. Foster Care Essentials extends their services to kinship families, recognizing that children in kinship placements deserve the same support as those in traditional foster care.

Foster Care Essentials is powered by the generosity of the Massachusetts community — accepting donated essential items, clothing, and financial contributions that go directly to families in need. Donors can also give financially or spread the word to help more families across the state access these free resources.

Currently operating from Hopedale, MA, Foster Care Essentials is actively seeking a larger space to expand their capacity and serve more families throughout Massachusetts. Growth means more children reached — and every resource contributed now helps build the foundation for that expanded reach.
