Who They Are
Central Missouri Foster Care and Adoption Association (CMFCAA) equips families with resources, training, and support to navigate the unique challenges of foster care, adoption, kinship caregiving, and family preservation. They connect families to practical assistance, advocacy, and community to improve outcomes for children and strengthen communities across Central Missouri.
A registered 501(c)(3), CMFCAA's services span clothing and essentials, housing support, mentorship, life skills, family strengthening, financial assistance, and respite care — a wide-reaching approach built to meet families wherever their need happens to be.

How They Help
CMFCAA provides clothing and everyday essentials to foster, adoptive, and kinship families — meeting a practical, immediate need so caregivers can focus on the children in their care.
CMFCAA connects families to housing support and financial assistance, helping remove practical barriers that can otherwise stand in the way of a stable, permanent home for a child.
Through mentorship and life skills training, CMFCAA equips caregivers — including kinship caregivers — with the tools and confidence they need to navigate the unique challenges of caring for a child from a hard place.
CMFCAA offers family strengthening services and respite care, giving foster and kinship families the support and breathing room they need to sustain the marathon of caregiving.
