Who They Are
Northland Clothing Center distributes clothing completely free of charge to people in the Kansas City Northland — contributing to the dignity, self-respect, and hope of every client who walks through their doors. Every client leaves with roughly 40–60 items of clothing, including new undergarments, and every school-aged child receives a brand new pair of sneakers.
A well-established 501(c)(3) poised for growth, Northland Clothing Center serves approximately 2,500 clients annually — including youth in foster care, kinship and adoptive families, youth aging out of care, and biological families in crisis. Their mission is simple: help every person who walks in feel seen, valued, and cared for.

Every client who visits Northland Clothing Center shops completely free of charge, leaving with roughly 40–60 items of clothing including new undergarments — restoring dignity, self-respect, and hope for individuals and families across the Kansas City Northland.
Every school-aged child served by Northland Clothing Center receives a brand new pair of sneakers — ensuring kids can walk into their classrooms with confidence, comfort, and one less thing for their families to worry about.

Ways to Support
Volunteer as a personal shopper, guiding clients through the clothing selection process, or join the Prep Crew — sorting, sizing, folding, and restocking donations. Skill-based volunteers can also contribute administrative and technical help with website, social media, volunteer management, or app development.
