Program Overview
Who They Are
Cornerstone Foster Closet is a ministry of Cornerstone Chapel providing free clothing and essential resources to foster, adoptive, and at-risk parents to help them care for the children in their home. They serve foster, kinship, adoptive, and biological families in crisis throughout the Pompton Plains area.
As a faith-based, church-run ministry, Cornerstone Foster Closet meets a very practical need — making sure no family caring for a child in crisis has to worry about having clothes, shoes, or basic essentials on hand.
New socks and underwear are the Foster Closet's greatest current need, in all sizes for boys and girls

How They Help
Cornerstone Foster Closet provides free clothing and essential resources to foster, adoptive, and at-risk parents — helping cover a practical need so caregivers can focus on the children in their home.
The Foster Closet serves foster, kinship, and adoptive families throughout the Pompton Plains area — a resource church and community members can point families toward when a child arrives with little notice.
Biological families navigating crisis are welcomed at the Foster Closet as well — reflecting a belief that every family caring for a child deserves support, not just judgment, during a hard season.
