Program Overview
Who They Are
The Village provides practical items and comforts to children in foster care while supporting the families who care for them. It's a place where children in foster care are free to choose things they love and enjoy — at no cost to their foster family.
A registered 501(c)(3) serving the Point Pleasant, New Jersey community, The Village believes that fostering shouldn't mean going without. Every item a child selects is chosen by them, for them — a small but meaningful way to restore a sense of choice and normalcy.
The Village's closet is stocked with clothing, toys, and essentials children can choose for themselves, free of charge

How They Help
Children in foster care visit The Village and choose clothing, toys, and comfort items they actually love and enjoy — all at no cost to their foster family, restoring a sense of choice and dignity.
Beyond the basics, The Village stocks practical items and comfort essentials that help ease the transition for a child entering a new foster home — because comfort matters just as much as necessity.
The Village exists not just for children, but for the families who care for them — giving foster parents one less expense to worry about as they open their homes to kids from hard places.
