Program Overview
Who They Are
South Central CASA of Oklahoma recruits, screens, trains, and supports community volunteers who advocate for the best interests of children who have experienced abuse or neglect and are involved in the juvenile deprived court system. CASA volunteers provide a consistent presence, gather information, collaborate with professionals, and make recommendations to the court to ensure each child's needs are heard and addressed.
A registered 501(c)(3) serving Cleveland, McClain, and Garvin Counties in Oklahoma, South Central CASA exists so that no child moving through the court system has to face it without someone in their corner who truly knows their story.

How They Help
South Central CASA recruits, screens, and trains community volunteers to become Court Appointed Special Advocates — equipping them to represent a child's best interests with confidence and consistency.
CASA volunteers gather information, collaborate with professionals, and make recommendations directly to the court — ensuring each child's needs are clearly heard and addressed in the juvenile deprived court system.
Beyond the courtroom, CASA volunteers provide children with a steady, familiar presence throughout their case — someone who shows up consistently and knows their story from start to finish.
South Central CASA partners with local businesses, churches, and civic groups — speaking to organizations across the community to raise awareness and recruit the next generation of advocates.

Ways to Support
Become a trained Court Appointed Special Advocate — build a consistent relationship with a child in foster care, gather information about their circumstances, and advocate for their best interests in court. The greatest need right now is more CASA volunteers, especially men, so no child has to wait for an advocate. Spouses may serve together. Also support through financial contributions, sponsorships, community partnerships, or by inviting CASA to speak to your business, church, or civic group. Apply at southcentralcasa.org. Also on Facebook and Instagram @southcentralcasa.
