Sanctuary is a fully licensed child placement agency in Texas — recruiting, training, licensing, and supporting foster families throughout the Houston area. Their process is designed to match children with families where genuine connection and healing can take root.
Sanctuary doesn't disappear after placement. They provide ongoing support, trauma-informed training, and regular check-ins so foster families have the tools and encouragement they need to care well for children from hard places — through the hard days and the good ones.
Multiple opportunities exist to wrap around foster families and children — from serving a family a meal, to helping with monthly events, to giving financially. Sanctuary believes it takes a whole community to support a foster family, and they make it easy to show up in meaningful ways.
Everything Sanctuary does flows from the conviction that children from hard places deserve sanctuary — true safety, stability, and the experience of being truly known and loved. Their trauma-informed, relationship-first approach shapes how they recruit families, train caregivers, and support every placement.
